The German-born artist is known for humorously addressing vocal feminism, body issues, and patriarchy in her photographs, installations, and paintings.​ Born in Wiesbaden. Lived in Milan, Paris and LA to work as a model and actress from the age of 14. At age 24, she made the decision to go to Berlin and pursue a career as a photographer. In order to process the objectification and sexuaization that she experienced, she started working with collages, installations with papier-mache breasts, films, and photographs. Over time, art became her expression. Annique took part in the exhibition Body & Soul at Galerie SLP.
